We Believe In The Trinity And Existence Of The Devil
In explaining the Trinity, I would like to use this analogy. The egg is comprised of three parts that is the yolk (yellowish part), the albumen (whitish part) and the shell. These three form one egg. Despite these three substances, the egg is not three but one. Likewise, we believe that God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit are one God but made of three persons. Hence they are One in Trinity.
When it comes to the devil, we believe that there is a devil who seeks the downfall of every man. This devil fell because of pride and has been seeking to destroy man from the very beginning. He brought sickness, sin and death into the world. He seeks the destruction of those who exercise their faith in the Lord Jesus. That is why the Bible admonishes us to “be self controlled and alert because our enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).
The devil has several unclean spirits over whom he governs (Matthew 12:24) but a time will come when he shall be thrown into the pit and chained for one thousand years (Revelation 20:1-3). After this, he will be put into the lake of fire where he will remain suffering together with his followers forever and ever (Revelation 20:10).
