No Video Of Your Sins In Heaven

When I was a young Christian growing up I was told in Church that God will replay our entire life, including all our sins and short falls on a huge video screen for all the angels and other saints to watch. Only the thought of that could produce chills in the spine and led to a lot of condemnation. I know you may be going through the same situation where you even feel condemned to stand before God because you think you have sinned but I want to say here categorically that there will be no video of your sins in heaven.

The Bible states in Romans 4:8 that “blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.” Hallelujah! This is the right place for you to start jumping in joy. Why? Let me explain this so you understand it. This simply means that God is no longer counting your sins against you. That is what God means by saying He is not imputing your sins against you. Thus your past, present and future sins are not imputed to you. Does that mean God wants you to sin? A thousand times no! Instead He wants you to live in righteousness that is why He will show no video of your sins in heaven.

My beloved, the reason why God does not impute any of your sins to you is not because you are special than another but rather because He already did that by imputing your sins to His Son Jesus when He hung Him on the cross for over 2,000 years ago. Not your sins only but He also took away all the curses that come along with it and have redeemed you from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13). From then, God imputed His own righteousness to us. So you are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

My beloved, God says that he will remember your sins no more so why do you still remember them? We even go as far as remembering other people’s sins and letting them affect the way we behave. God does not want you to be conscious of sins because sin consciousness is far worse than sin itself and has the ability to send a man to hell for sure. So from today, rejoice and come to Him boldly and expect Him to show you mercy and grace because He remembers your sins no more. The more peace you have with yourself the better you relate with other people in your community. God bless you.
