Nothing Is Impossible For God
Our minds often tend to see our problems as either big or small. Even when we pray for the sick, we say things like, “You have a headache? No problem, Let us pray for your healing.” But when it is cancer or bone abnormality, we say, “Oh, is that so, let’s tell the senior pastor about it. It would be better if he prayed for you.” We think of headaches as small problems and cancers or bone abnormality as big ones.
But that is not the way God thinks. There is nothing impossible for God who made the heavens and the earth! God does not have big problems and small problems. In fact, the bigger the problem, the easier it is for God to deal with them. In the feeding of the 5,000, it took only five loaves to feed the multitude (Matthew 14:15–21) but in the feeding of the smaller multitude of 4,000, it took seven loaves (Matthew 15:32–38). God used less to feed more and more to feed less. Nothing is impossible for God indeed. This is a way for Him to tell you that the bigger the problem, the easier it is for Him.
This is not to say that small problems are hard for God but just to make you know that nothing is impossible for God if only you believe. Although that cancer may seem incurable, God says “this is an easy thing for me to heal.”
In another scenario, when the Israelites thought that it was impossible for them to leave the land of Egypt to the promised land God said “watch Me do My thing”. God against all odds made it possible for the Israelites to leave the land of bondage to the land flowing with milk and honey (Exodus 12). It just seems like when things become difficult or unbearable to us is when God stands in and say this is easy for me.
Beloved, there is nothing like a problem with God. God provides a solution to all of man’s problem regardless of what it is. If you are going through any battle or situation that looks overwhelmingly impossible to deal with, all you need to do is lay the burden on God as He is willing and able to help you deal with it. Just believe God for the impossible!
