What Matters To You, Matters To God

Many Christians make the mistake of thinking that God is too busy taking care of the “big things” or some other “important things” to be interested in the little problems they are facing. Are you one of them? It may be a C you got in that terminal exams, a toothache that hurts ones in a long while or your inability to save enough for a business you want to go into. No matter how trivial it sounds, as long as it troubles you, God wants to take care of it because what matters to you, matters to God!

God yearns to take care of every area of your life, even the smallest detail. He loves you so much that He knows the number of hairs you have on your head. How amazing is that! And if your loving heavenly Father knows and is interested in the small details of your life, then you don’t have to overcome any problem on your own.

My beloved, your heavenly Father cares for you and has laid down an excellent plan for you that will produce a success out of you. You are His prized possession and a significant part of Himself. You are always on His heart as He carefully considers and makes plans for every aspect of your life; the big, the medium and small. The interesting thing is, for Him there is nothing like big or small. They are all the same regardless of how you see it. As a matter of fact the very thought of you puts a smile on His face because He knows that the plans He has for you are plans to bless you (Jeremiah 29:11).

So no matter what problems you are facing right now, you can rest in His love for you. What matters to you, matters to God and there is no problem that is too insignificant for Him to handle. He is not just God Almighty, He is also your heavenly Father who loves you and wants the best for you! If your earthly father or mother would do all that it takes to provide the best for you, how much more your heavenly father who has all the power in the world to meet your needs.
