Producing Wealth The Bible Way
There are a lot of differences between the world and the kingdom of God and this call for this teaching – Producing Wealth the Bible Way. The world says believe in yourself which is not wrong when taken literally but what the world means is believe in yourself and no one else which is very wrong because the Bible says believe in God. The world says do all you can to be wealthy, whether legally or illegally no one cares but the Bible says do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about what you wear (Matthew 6:25). Suffering or going through a lot of hardship to get wealth is not what God wills for you or anyone of His Children. Note that I cannot fully expound on every singly principle and this is not all there is but I will do my best to explain these principles.
The first principle in producing wealth the Bible way is to believe in God and to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all things, the cars, money, buildings will be given to you as well as a bonus (Matthew 6:33). Many are working so hard but are earning less, they use all their energy (manual labour) and still earn far below what they expect. As you do the will of God, He provides for you till it overflows so you can be a blessing to many.
The second principle is Giving. Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over shall men give into your bosom (Luke 6:38). This is one principle the world just can’t understand. The world says if you save and save hard you will become wealthy but the Bible says when you give and give hard you will have abundance. A direct opposite! Giving is not limited to offering or tithe although they are all good but give your time. A stingy man is eager to get rich and is unaware that poverty awaits him (Proverbs 28:22). Don’t compromise on giving but give your best in all that you do and that will be an avenue for God to bless you.
The last principle for producing wealth the Bible way is by offering service. Many are surprised how much money people in the oil and entertainment industry are making. They are making millions because they are offering service to millions of people all over the world. The more lives you affect, the higher your value which translates to what you earn. Identify a venture people are interested in a focus your resources. Be determined to influence lives without focussing so much on returns in terms of money. The money will eventually follow with time.
