Solution For Loneliness

It does not matter how tightly knit our families are or how many close friends we have. When we go through a difficult time or trial, many a time, we still feel all alone and that no one really cares or understands. This feeling of loneliness sometimes causes a great deal of problems between us and the people we claim we love. Is there any solution for loneliness in this life that we are in?

The Bible recalls that Martha also had that feeling when Jesus visited them. This was revealed when she cried out to Jesus, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone?” (Luke 10:40) Jesus’ disciples also went through this period of loneliness when they cried out, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” when they were swept up in a terrifying storm (Mark 4:38).

It is possible this maybe the cry of your heart today. You may be going through a lot right now and you think that the Lord has forsaken you or probably does not understand what you are going through. My beloved, the Lord does care for you. He loves you so much that He wants you to cast all your cares upon Him—not just some but all your cares. He wants both your big and small cares and knows and understands all of it. There is nothing too small or big for Him: in His eyes they are all the same. Is it a care in your heart, He wants you to cast it upon Him. Why? Because He cares for you! He left all of heaven to come and die for you. God is the one you are casting your cares upon and not just anybody.

When you are going through a difficult time, God wants you to believe that you are never alone because He Himself has said that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He is the only solution for loneliness in your life because man can fail you sometimes but God never fails. As the object of His love, He will take care of you for the rest of your life. You are never alone so keep that in mind and go to Him with all your problems!
