No Need to Fear
Luke 2:10–11
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
My friend, if everything in and around you seems to be going wrong, and you feel like giving up, just remember that Jesus came to make everything right.
He was not born in warm comfortable home but in a cold manger. There was no room for Him but He has made room for you when He went to the cross for your healing, deliverance, wholeness and provision, and He has even gone ahead to prepare a mansion in heaven just for you.
Jesus was born very quietly, so quietly that the Bible says that only a group of shepherds came to Him, while the rest of Bethlehem slept (Luke 2:8–9). Like manna falling quietly from heaven in the Old Testament, the true bread from heaven came quietly. It was a silent night, but that was not all. He was also born during the darkest time in Israel’s history. Israel was under oppression. It was around this time that the King of kings was born.
My friend, He will come to you in the darkest period of your life. When there seems to be no cure for your disease, when there seems to be no solution to your problems, when all seems to be lost, that is when He will show up. There is no need to fear because there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
Beloved, He is not showing up as a judge to crucify you but as your saviour. He came to save His people and has not stopped doing that ever since. If you are in a cold, dark period of your life, there is no need to be afraid because the saviour has come and He will save you to the uttermost so there is no need to fear!
