Inspiration For The Believer (2)
This is a continuation of yesterday’s inspiration for believers. Today’s topic is not readily available on tapes and videos and is hardly talked about. It is either many are ignorant about it or they are afraid of sharing their views on it. Today’s inspiration for the believer is the knowledge of God’s faith in you. Do you know that God has faith in you? Many are shocked by such a statement because they don’t believe that a sovereign God would depend on man to make anything happen. The truth is that God depends on you.
Every believer ought to be inspired by God’s faith in them. God’s faith you say? Yes God believes in you so much that handed over the whole world to you after creation. God could have said let the monkey or lion have dominion over the earth but He said let man have dominion (Genesis 1:26-30). That speaks volumes and God will never break His word because a man’s word is himself. The main reason why people are suffering is because they have allowed themselves to. God is waiting for you to rise up. God doesn’t need to move, He already did. It is left for you to move.
God has left the survival of this world into man’s hands and for that matter every believer. He trusts you to the extent of coming to dwell in you. How good is that? God the creator, King of all kings, Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient is dwelling in you. How can you be a failure? Why should you fall sick, or be a victim of anything bad. It is about time you say no to all the bad and rise up. It is time for you to move and conquer the world.
Did you know God didn’t entrust the salvation of man in the hands of Angels but in your hands? Take the story of Peter and Cornelius for example (Acts 10:1-48). The Angel that appeared to Cornelius should have simply led him into salvation but he couldn’t because it is the responsibility of man (and now your responsibility). I find it amusing when people continue to pray for God to save some city but don’t take any step to talking or reaching out to anyone.
God has placed your own life in your hands. You may be born in a poor home but staying there or becoming wealthy depends on you. Living long or dying early depends on you. Your own destiny is in your hands because He trusts you.
I can go on and on but I want to end here and say this every believer needs to be inspired by the faith God has in them to reach up higher. There is much more to Christianity than just being saved.
