Divine Vitality

In the Old Testament, God said to the people, “the life of the flesh is in the blood…” (Leviticus 17:11). In other words, what gives life to the human body is the blood that flows through the veins. That is why blood related diseases are very dangerous and can easily lead to death. However, this is different for the new creation: the man or woman that is born again and is filled with the Holy Spirit has “divine vitality”. The Bible says “and if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life (vitality) to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you” (Romans 8:11).

The Holy Spirit living in you is the One who vitalizes and gives life to your physical body, not your blood. He was the One that raised Jesus from the dead. Since that same Spirit now dwells in you, giving life to your physical body, it means no sickness, weakness and infirmities ought to stay in your body!

You need to understand that you are not flesh and blood! If your doctor has diagnosed a disease that has affected your blood, resulting in anomaly in your physical body, it shouldn’t mean a death sentence, because the new creation doesn’t live by blood. The Bible affirms this in John 1:12-13 which says that “but as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, ‘not of blood’, ‘nor of the will of the flesh’, ‘nor of the will of man’, but of God (Holy Spirit)”.

With this new life nothing ought to go wrong with your physical body because the Spirit of God is the life of the new creation; not the blood in your veins. You don’t even need prayer to be healed of any infirmity because of the life of God. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit (His divine vitality), strengthens, energizes and vitalizes your physical body. Therefore there is no need to be sick again. Hallelujah!
