Stirring Up Your Faith

If you are in Christ, there is nothing in this world that you must fear. Jesus has already overcome the world and all its systems for you. When you face difficult situations in your life, you are not helpless because your solution is always available. Christianity is a fight of faith, and you have spiritual weapons at your disposal to launch out in the offensive. There is a difference in fighting for victory and fighting from victory. Christians are fighting from victory because Jesus has already won on our behalf.

Just as we need weapons in fighting battles in the physical realm so it is in the spiritual world. One of such weapons is singing: singing songs of faith. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:18-19 that “be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”. When you are faced with challenges, shut your door and keep singing until faith is stirred in your spirit. Sing with the spirit and sing with the understanding also because you lose nothing for singing (1 Corinthians 14:15).

Another means of stirring up your faith is by praying in the Holy Spirit. Jude 1:20 admonishes us to build ourselves up in our most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. As you pray in the spirit by speaking in tongues, the Spirit will stir you up and set you upon your feet. He begins to speak to you through His Word by stirring up words in you like “Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). As you hear them, you take them as your own and confess them.

By stirring up your faith, the business that is dead will be revived, your health that is killing you will be healed and solutions begin to fall in place. All these can happen within a twinkling of an eye by the power of the Holy Spirit, if you act on the Word today. Take this step and write to us and let us know the outcome.
