Love Memory Verses

love

18 Now Jacob loved Rachel; so he said, “I will serve you seven years for Rachel your younger daughter.” 19 And Laban said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man. Stay with me.” 20 So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her.

Genesis 29:18-20

This is what Love can do! It makes you know no pain. It has the ability to let you do things that you could possibly not do in the natural. It has no logic attached to it. Love endures for the other. Jacob served for seven years but for him it looked like a few days. This didn’t end there. His uncle gave him Leah, Rachel’s elder sister instead, as wife because their traditions didn’t allow for the younger to marry before the older. Jacob still served for an extra seven years which seemed to him as days because of the love he had for Rachel.

4 You shall not make for yourself a carved image – any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Exodus 20:4-6

The Almighty God loves His children dearly and is prepared to do all that it takes to make them happy. This explains why He sent His only son to die for the whole world. Even more so He loves those who love Him because their love for Him gives them the privilege to access the immeasurable blessings He has in stock for them.

33 And if a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him. 34 The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

Leviticus 19:33-34

God is an impartial God (Romans 2:11) and this is what justifies His Holiness, Righteousness and Judgement. This verse above expresses God’s intent of us treating everyone equally around us. There is no biasness in love because love always seeks the good of the other. Why would you treat someone less when you want what’s best for them.
