Let Nothing Stop You

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law but under Grace (Romans 6:14)

The weight of sin-consciousness overburdens many in the Church today. They feel they have sinned or done something wrong that cannot be forgiven. Satan uses this as a weapon to keep you in bondage and to make you ineffective. This can even make you feel guilty, making you think you are not qualified or good enough to be used by God. It can even affect your asking from God.

Jesus dealt with sin

Jesus has dealt with the sin problem so sin is no longer a factor. The Bible says “For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21). He has called you into His ministry to do His work and enjoy His best not because of your own good works or righteousness, but because of His Love and Grace.

God has counted you faithful therefore nothing and no sin should hinder your faith or dampen your zeal from doing His work. Remember you didn’t call yourself but rather He called you and before He called you He knew you. He knows your past, present and future before He called you. He knows all your mistakes and your successes. All He wants from you now is to learn to trust Him with all your heart.

He has qualified and made you an able minister of the Gospel. He is not going to do it, He has already done it and it is irrevocable. Therefore refuse to allow sin or a guilt-conscience to distract you from ministering to the Lord or from fulfilling your purpose as a minister of reconciliation.

The Lord doesn’t want you sad, bitter or frustrated in life, wondering what life has to offer. He wants your joy to be full always. That is why He has granted an open invitation to ask anything in His name and expect to receive answers. He clearly reveals that it is His good pleasure to answer your prayers, grant your requests and make you happy.

You are important to the Lord and it is His delight to see you happy, and to prosper and be in good health. Stop beating yourself up and Get busy for the Lord and stay on track.
