How To Abide In Divine Favour

Favour as described earlier is very important for every believer. It is available to every believer but accessing it solely depends on you. How therefore can we abide in divine favour? Abiding or continually enjoying divine favour is of importance and your responsibility as well. Abiding in divine favour the following must be well noted.

You have to stick to the word

The word of God is life and safety net to every situation or problem encountered. There are many believers who want to enjoy God’s best and to eat the fruits of the kingdom but fail to read the word of God. The word of God is God’s gift to mankind and has the power to change lives and to make you anew. It has all the secrets to healthy living.

Give your tithe

God is passionate about tithe and says that when you give your tithe you provide food in His house and He will pour out blessings that you will not even have room for (Malachi 3:10). As you give your tithe, many more lives are saved and this goes to your advantage. Many who don’t pay their tithe are robbing God and murdering a lot of people that could have been saved.

Give generously to people

The Bible states categorically that give to the one who asks you and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you (Matthew 5:42). There are people who argue that when they give money to beggars, all they do is to buy drugs, alcohol or do things that don’t benefit. Well that may be true but the Bible didn’t ask you to check or identify what they are going to use it for but rather to give. Give to any one that asks you when you have for that is the secret of staying in divine favour.

Stay connected to the man of God/someone with divine favour

Favour will abide in your life if you continuously stay connected with your source. The Bible gives account of a man called Lot who was greatly blessed even for following Abraham (Genesis 13). Same with the Disciples of Christ who were also blessed for following Jesus.

Constantly testify and praise God

When praises go up, God comes down and the presence of God brings change wherever it goes. Praise is the key to unlocking the heavens. To walk in divine favour you ought to make the conscious effort. It is your responsibility to become who you ought to be so don’t miss it.
