What Divine Favour Is

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favour with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David (Luke 1:30-32).

Mary was going about her usual chores without ever knowing that she has been identified by God to give birth to the saviour of the world. Mary was not the only virgin in the whole land of Galilee. Same with Abraham, God just appeared from nowhere and singled him out to be blessed (Genesis 12:1). That is what is going to happen to you as you continue to read in Jesus name. AMEN!

Favour is to be given undue advantage over others in anything. God uses those who are deemed unfit, foolish, immoral and unworthy and put their feet upon a rock where they can stand and be a blessing to people. He wants to be the only one to be trusted, not even in your own abilities.  Your own abilities will fail but His forever endures. Divine favour is a quality of Grace. It is the face of God shining upon you. One of the outworking of Grace; an expression of Grace. You don’t have to work yourself up for it, or to do anything for it. It is a gift!

When you become born again, you are born into that glorious life where grace is made available to you. In that grace you have favour following you everywhere you go. Doors begin to open for you at every avenue you find yourself in. Your face begins to radiate the glory of God and no one can possibly resist but to do whatever you say.

Conclusion

Favour is what moves you from poverty to riches, from being a sickly to divine health, from a lower position to a higher position in your work places and from grass to grace. Favour puts things in place for you and makes you access the inaccessible.
