Your Future Prosperity Is In Your Hands
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth ; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).
Does God want you to prosper?
God wants you to prosper in every aspect of your life, for He delights in the prosperity of His children. God expresses His wish that above all things you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2). No wonder the Bible says that He has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness (1 Peter 1:3). You have been born into a place of absolute prosperity through Christ Jesus.
When you received Christ Jesus you were automatically catapulted and moved into a supernatural realm of prosperity and became not just an heir of God but a joint heir with Christ Jesus. Although you are a joint heir with Christ, and all of God’s wealth and riches belong to you, you have to grow in the Word of God unto maturity to enjoy all the benefits that rightly belongs to you.
This is where meditating on the Word and practicing in your life comes to play. As you meditate on the Scriptures, the Word of God is so imparted into your spirit that you talk, walk and live the Word. As you read and meditate on the word, you are mingled with the word. That is the way to attain the prosperity God has ordained for you. Not only is God interested in your prosperity, He shows you how to get it. You are solely responsible for your own prosperity.
This is not limited to financial prosperity but prosperity all-around; in every aspect of your life. When you meditate on the Word of God, your progress, prosperity and success is seen by all not just a selected few. To prosper as a child of God is not dependent on anyone else but you. Your prosperity in your job, health, family, marriage, finances etc depends on you and your continual meditation on the Word of God. This is His divine road-map for true and lasting prosperity. You may be rich for a while without it but it will all come to not. Lasting riches and prosperity comes from God.
